Warm and sunny Easter Weekend

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A beautiful spring day of sunny skies and warm temperatures to wrap up the weekend as we head into Easter Weekend with warmer temperature readings and increasing cloud cover.

Tonight a few clouds move in making for mostly clear to partly cloudy skies with temperatures hovering right around 50 degrees. Waking up Saturday morning to just a few clouds before those clear leaving us another great day ahead with temperatures in the upper 70s.

Easter Sunday will be a little toasty as temperatures warm into the low 80s by the afternoon. Also watch out for more clouds to increase throughout the afternoon and evening.

Staying mostly cloudy and warm next week as high pressure remains entrenched across the southeast from the weekend. The ridge will hold firm until a strong cold front arrives late Tuesday and early Wednesday.

Rain chances increase ahead of a cold front and low pressure system late Tuesday and into early Wednesday morning. As of right now, severe weather parameters are low, but a few strong storms can not be ruled out especially for areas to the north.
