Showers, storms possible overnight into Thursday

Stay weather aware and have the Severe Weather Team 11 app downloaded for the latest updates, watches and warnings. A slow-moving system will keep showers and storms in the forecast overnight and again Thursday and a few of the storms could bring the threat for frequent lightning, damaging winds, heavy rain, hail and even an isolated tornado.

Have your severe weather plan ready as you head to bed.

Showers and storms could disrupt the morning commute, especially south of Pittsburgh along I 70.

Another round of showers and possible storms will pop up after lunch into the evening, again, mainly from Pittsburgh and areas to the south.

After a mainly dry Friday, off-and-on showers and isolated storms will continue Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
