Want to order a new I-PASS sticker online? Here’s how to do it
Tollways around the country will be crowded pretty soon with summer vacation travelers, plus the usual daily commuter traffic.
So it’s a good time for a reminder that the Illinois Tollway’s new I-PASS stickers are now available.

You can purchase the I-PASS stickers at Jewel-Osco stores, Road Ranger stores and Illinois Tollway customer service centers, but the most convenient way is to order them online at getipass.com to have one or more stickers shipped right to you.
Here’s how to order an I-PASS sticker online:
Log on to getipass.com.
Once there, you’ll see several options available, one for opening an I-PASS account, one for paying by license plate and one for paying invoices. At the far left, you’ll see a log-in option for existing users. If you already have an I-PASS account, just log in. If you don’t, choose the “Open I-PASS Account” option and set one up.
Once you set up an I-PASS account and get logged in, you’ll see a menu on the left-hand side of your screen with various options. Click on the one that says “Transponders.”
You’ll now be on a screen that says “Transponder Summary” at the top, with three options right below it. The middle option is “Order Transponder.” Click on that.
Now you’ll see a screen that says “Transponder Details” near the middle, with several dropdown menus below it. You’ll need to select your vehicle class, which for most people will be “Auto/SUV-up to 7,000 pounds.” Then, the dropdown menu below that says “Transponder Type.” For the stickers, select “Windshield-mounted.” Below that is the quantity, so select however many you would like to order.
You can be sure you ordered the sticker if the transponder deposit cost says $0. That’s because the stickers do not cost anything. Also, at the very top of the screen, it will say “Select ‘Windshield-mounted’ Transponder type for a $0 I-PASS Sticker Tag.” If you see all these things on your screen, then you’ve correctly ordered a new I-PASS sticker — or more than one — at no charge.
After hitting “Continue,” you’ll be taken to a page with an address confirmation and a confirmation number for your order. Your shipping address and any account information should match up with whatever you put in when you created your I-PASS account.
That’s it! When you get the sticker, just put it on your windshield.

Remember, the stickers aren’t transferable. It’s one per vehicle. And once you have your registered I-PASS account with the corresponding sticker on your windshield, you’ll be ready to use it on the Illinois Tollway, the Chicago Skyway and other E-ZPass roadways.
