  • Microsoft's new AI-powered Bing is now open to everyone, and one thing's for sure: It's not your grandparents' Bing.

  • The chatbot — developed with OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT — can suggest recipes, write poems, and more.

  • Here's a step-by-step walkthrough of how to access and use the new Bing.

Go to Bing.com/new in your internet browser.

You can also choose what kind of chat experience you want to have.

The "creative" Bing conversation style will start an "original and imaginative" chat, while the "precise" one will give you a "concise and straightforward" chat. The "balanced" chat lands right in the middle with an "informative and friendly" user experience.

Type your questions in the search bar at the bottom of the screen. When Bing answers, you can like or dislike the response, share the answer, or copy it.
