We're nuts for Walnut — we love this cutie almost as much as he loves carrots.

This 1-year-old guinea pig is a shy boy. Walnut came in as part of a pair, but he seems to enjoy having the place to himself. He apparently didn’t like sharing space with his guinea pig brother, Pistachio.

TCHS staff members are happy to share tips on proper guinea pig care, including diet, cage setup, and much more — just ask!

Themias is a 2-year-old spayed mixed-breed dog who will need a patient home willing to work with her on her doggy life skills.

Once she gets to know you, Themias is a huge cuddle-bug, and she thinks she’s a lap dog despite weighing almost 70 pounds. Thanks to a Kira’s memorial fund, Themias has a free dog training session through Prodigy Pups Dog Training.

— These pets are available for adoption at Tri-County Humane Society, presented as a public service of the St. Cloud Times.
