Walmart unveils Sam's Choice Italia -- a new food line straight from Italy
Walmart is going Italian!
The retail giant has teamed up with the Italian Trade Agency to create a line of authentic Italian cuisine for customers across America. The 40-product Sam's Choice Italia line features family favorites -- made with amore, of course -- such as truffle risotto and pesto style gnocchi.
Other items from the line also available in Walmart's 3,600 stores include boxed dinners, bagged pastas, pesto and pasta sauces and frozen pizzas.
The best part? You don't have to worry about breaking the bank for an authentic Italian dinner.
A creamy tomato gnocchi meal kit costs just $2.48, and if that's not quite your thing you can indulge in a penne with mushroom sauce dish for the same price! There are also a variety of different sauces and pastas -- the pesto sauce is a definite hit! -- to appease the pickiest of eaters.
The Sam's Choice Italia line is now available at Walmart stores and on Walmart.com and additional items will continue to roll out under the Sam's Choice Italia line. Check out the slideshow above for some majorly delicious items you should get your hands on ASAP.
