Walmart is now selling the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c at huge discounts

Don’t want the bigger iPhone 6? Then check out these killer iPhone 5s and 5c deals

Apple may be getting ready to launch the new iPhone 6 next quarter, but that doesn’t mean the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c aren’t hot propositions anymore, especially since retailers are apparently now ready to sell at deep discounts. Starting Friday, Walmart will permanently discount both 2013 Apple iPhones, as long as they’re purchased with a new two-year agreement.

The iPhone 5s will cost $99, a $50 discount compared to Walmart’s previous price, while the iPhone 5c will sell for $29 on contract, or $20 less than before. These prices are valid for the 16GB versions of the phones, although 32GB and 64GB version should also be cheaper.

Walmart isn’t the only retailer offering significantly cheaper new iPhones. RadioShack also has the on-contract iPhone 5s priced at $99.99, and the price can go down to $0 with an eligible iPhone trade-in. Costco will go even cheaper, charging you just $78 for an on-contract iPhone 5s.

Because these are all prices that require a new two-year deal with a carrier, it means you’ll have to choose between AT&T, Sprint or Verizon, no matter where you shop for a new iPhone.

Meanwhile, the 16GB iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c versions sell for $199 and $99, respectively, when purchased directly from Apple with new carrier contracts.
