Wallet Wednesday: Local credit union working to give back to community

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An Oregon-based credit union is stepping up its efforts to help communities through its new SELCO Steps initiative.

The program by SELCO Community Credit Union hopes to create lasting change through volunteerism, financial education and more.

AM Extra was joined by Olivia Sorenson, senior community developement specialist with SELCO, to talk more about the community-giving effort.
