The Walking Dead's Carl has FINALLY cut his hair

Coral Carl from The Walking Dead, aka Chandler Riggs, has finally cut his hair – and he looks quite charming.

The actor shared a photo of his new 'do on Twitter, writing: "new hair who dis."

We're guessing he's had it all chopped off in light of TWD's heartbreaking midseason finale, which revealed Carl has been bit.

"The bite is going to play out as we've seen bites play out, and it's very important to Carl's story and the entire story, what happens in the next episode," showrunner Scott Gimple said on companion show The Talking Dead.

This all but confirms that Chandler's final scenes will be in episode 9, the midseason premiere, in February.

However, Carl's impending death has proven so controversial that fans have been signing a petition demanding that Scott Gimple be fired.

Viewers have been making their voices heard since the midseason finale, and since the revelation that actor Chandler had no plans to quit, and that it was reportedly Gimple's call to kill off Rick's son – deemed by fans to be one of the most important characters on the show.

The Walking Dead returns for the back half of season eight next year. It airs on AMC in the US, and on FOX and NOW TV in the UK.
