To celebrate the Oct. 22 Season 8 premiere of The Walking Dead — the series’ 100th episode — Yahoo TV will be posting a new TWD -related story every day through the season opener.
On screen, the characters of The Walking Dead almost never smile — life’s hard in a post-apocalyptic zombie hellscape, after all. But off-screen, the cast and crew of TWD are one big happy family, as evidenced by their posts on social media. Ahead of the show’s season 8 premiere, we rounded up the official Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat accounts for the entire TWD team to give you an idea of what you’ll get if you follow them on social media. Fun fact: Norman Reedus is a true social media butterfly. TWD’s Daryl Dixon shows up on his castmates’ feeds— a lot!

— The Walking Dead AMC (@WalkingDead_AMC) July 25, 2017
What you’ll get: Cast pics, Comic-Con updates , and behind-the-scenes snaps can be found on the show’s official Twitter and Instagram pages and Snapchat stories.
Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes)
The Walking Dead’s leading man (aka sheriff’s deputy Rick Grimes) doesn’t have an official Twitter or Instagram account, and he’s endearingly clueless about social media — as evidenced by this moment in Yahoo TV’s 2016 Comic-Con studio, when we asked him to shoot a video for Yahoo Entertainment’s Snapchat.

Chandler Riggs (Carl Grimes)
— chandler riggs (@chandlerriggs) June 2, 2017
What you’ll get: Recent high school grad Chandler Riggs is clearly close with his family — he often posts photos with his mom, dad, and little bro, Grayson. Riggs also likes to strike a pose with his girlfriend, Brianna Maphis, and he recently shared prom pics and photos from his graduation night.
Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon)
What you’ll get: The popular TWD actor has a quirky social feed — we’re still trying to make sense of it. From photoshopped fan-made fantasy pics to full-on throwbacks, anything goes.
Melissa McBride (Carol Peletier)
What you’ll get: This TWD warrior is a master at selfies and she often poses with her AMC family.
Lauren Cohan (Maggie Greene)
What you’ll get: The actress’s Twitter feed includes heartfelt posts about recent tragedies, like the Manchester bombing and the death of TWD stuntman John Bernecker. Cohan reserves her Instagram feed for more light-hearted posts and selfies.
Danai Gurira (Michonne)
What you’ll get: In addition to posting photos with her TWD co-stars, Gurira gives shout-outs to her squad from the upcoming Black Panther film. Followers will also learn more about the work of Love Our Girls, an advocacy group Gurira endorses.
Alanna Masterson (Tara Chambler)

Christian Serratos (Rosita Espinosa)
Mom was just reminding me how she used to do my homework in the car before school. Is it my problem she waited till last minute…
— Christian Serratos (@cserratos) June 16, 2017
What you’ll get: This new mom makes it clear that she will post whatever she wants on her Instagram page—including breastfeeding snaps. She also likes to joke around on Twitter.
Seth Gilliam (Father Gabriel Stokes)
— Seth Gilliam (@TheSethGilliam) June 1, 2017
What you’ll get: TWD’s resident man of the cloth is an advocate for animal rights, and he lets us know it on his social feeds.
Ross Marquand (Aaron)
— Ross Marquand (@RossMarquand) July 25, 2017
What you’ll get: Ross Marquand’s Twitter page is one-stop-shopping for TWD diehards. The actor regularly plugs the show and fan events like the upcoming Walker Stalker Cruise.
Katelyn Nacon (Enid)
What you’ll get: This teen actress is best known as Enid on TWD , but she also tags a lot of social media posts to plug her go90 web series, @Tagged.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan)
What you’ll get: He plays a villain on TWD, but Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s Instagram gives an inside look at his real life as a family man with wife Hilarie Burton and their young son, Gus. Of course, the actor also reminds us that his Negan persona — and his barbed wire bat — is never far away.
Austin Amelio (Dwight)
What you’ll get: Austin Amelio is not shy when it comes to posting selfies — you just have to figure out where in the world he is! Recent posts from the actor have him in Munich , London , and en route to Costa Rica.
Tom Payne (Paul “Jesus” Rovia)
What you’ll get: Tom Payne puts a lot of thought into his Instagram aesthetics. Not only does he have just the right amount of white spaces with meaningful quotes, but he gets artsy with filters after posing for girlfriend Jennifer Akerman.
Xander Berkeley (Gregory)
What you’ll get: Nothing, unless you know Berkeley personally. Hilltop’s former head honcho keeps his social media accounts locked up. Actor Xander Berkeley’s tweets are protected and his Instagram is private.
Steven Ogg (Simon)
What you’ll get: Steven Ogg may just have the most eclectic social media feeds of anyone on TWD. Selfies are this Savior’s specialty, and sometimes he lets electric fish make a cameo .
Pollyanna McIntosh (Jadis)
What you’ll get: The leader of the Scavengers recently documented her visit to artist Joseph Quay’s “border wall” installation in midtown Atlanta. The actress also appreciates fan art and frequently posts it, so start drawing and you may just get a cameo on her wall.
Jordan Woods-Robinson (Eric Raleigh)
— JordanWoods-Robinson (@jwoodsrobinson) March 27, 2017
What you’ll get: Funny anecdotes, TWD-themed retweets, and more can be found on Jordan Woods-Robinson’s Twitter page. Oh, and his pinned tweet (seen above) is epic and needs to never change.
Khary Payton (King Ezekiel)
What you’ll get: All hail the king! TWD’s King Ezekiel rules on Instagram and Twitter. He posts a lot of Walking Dead pics, the occasional inspirational quote, and still manages to get his (faux) Isaac Hayes groove on.
Frank Darabont (Former TWD exec producer)
What you’ll get: The man who developed The Walking Dead from the comic book series must be busy. He hasn’t posted to his Twitter account since February 2015.
Gale Anne Hurd (TWD exec producer)
— Gale Anne Hurd (@GunnerGale) July 29, 2017
What you’ll get: Hurd is an avid environmentalist, and regularly posts socially conscious tweets.
Scott M. Gimple (TWD showrunner)
Stopped by for some Claritin and was once again mistaken for the manager of Walgreens. I went with it.
— Scott M. Gimple (@ScottMGimple) July 5, 2017
What you’ll get: The Walking Dead showrunner is very active on Twitter (Instagram, not so much, as his lone post reveals). His entertaining feed is populated with everything from political posts to Sesame Street retweets. And if he ever quits his TV job, perhaps retail management could be in his future.
Greg Nicotero (TWD exec producer, FX whiz)
What you’ll get: It’s no surprise that this TWD executive producer and special effects makeup artist has the goriest social media pages of them all. In addition to a steady stream of walkers, Nicotero’s Instagram includes a tribute to his mentor, the late George A. Romero, who gave him his first major special effects makeup job in the 1985 film Day of the Dead.
Denise Huth (TWD co-exec producer)

Robert Kirkman (TWD exec producer)
I am NOT ending The Walking Dead comic. I simply said I know how it ends. Don’t fall for click bait articles. #shameonyouAVclub
— Robert Kirkman (@RobertKirkman) July 21, 2017
What you’ll get: The man who started it all, The Walking Dead comic book creator is also an executive producer on the TV series. Kirkman uses his Twitter account to give updates on the comic books and the show—and sometimes set the record straight.
