‘Walk for Wishes’ fundraiser to take place this Sunday
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Make-A-Wish Foundation will be holding their 6th annual “Walk for Wishes” fundraiser this Sunday, April 28, and the community is invited to join the race.
The Foundation says the event will be starting at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday at the Shoppes at Solana.
The registration deadline for the event will be at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 27. To sign up for the race, click here: 2024 Walk for Wishes online registration.
The packet pick-up time will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 26, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 at Up and Running.
The Foundation asks for those who are participating in the race to arrive between 7:45 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Sunday.
The starting line for the race will be under the Star Western Wear sign, facing Sunland Park Drive.
The Foundation says all money raised during the fundraiser will stay local to help wish kids in El Paso.
