Wake-Up Weather: the calm after the storms, setting the tone for this weekend

Friday, May 17th, 2024

Summary: A few early morning showers with some cloud cover lingering in our northern counties will dissipate as the high pressure takes over. Plenty of sunshine to follow with cloud cover briefly passing through with a low chance of seeing isolated showers/sprinkles. Temperatures will remain the coolest they will be in the next 7 days. Take advantage as we could be looking at the first triple digit day of the year by Monday of next week. We see a cold front drop temperatures into the mix of the 80’s with a few chances Wednesday and Thursday of next week to pick up on some rain before seeing temperatures bubble back up into the 90’s.

Today: Humid, mostly sunny with a slim brief chance for a light shower/sprinkle with the increase in cloud cover. High Temperature: 82° Winds: W 5 MPH

Tonight: Mostly clear, calm and seasonal night. Low Temperatures: 62° Winds: S 5 MPH
