W.Va. pump price down a penny

West Virginia gas prices fall by a penny

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- The price at the gas pump in West Virginia has dropped by a penny since last week.

AAA's weekly report on gas prices statewide shows the average price for regular unleaded is now $3.59. Nationally, a gallon of gas goes for $3.61 a gallon. That's down 4 cents in less than one month, but still a dime more than on the same date last year.

Across West Virginia, pump prices range from a low of $3.48 a gallon in Bridgeport and Clarksburg to a high of $3.70 in Huntington.
