W.Va. gas prices holding steady

West Virginia pump prices holding steady; US prices a few cents higher

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- West Virginia gas prices are holding steady.

The auto club's weekly check on prices at the pump show the state average is $3.44 a gallon for regular unleaded. That's down a couple cents from last week.

Nationally, a gallon is going for $3.48 a gallon, which is 15 cents less than a month ago. It's 31 cents lower than the peak price this year, recorded in February.

Across West Virginia, gas prices range from a low $3.31 in Parkersburg to a high of $3.60 in Martinsburg.
