VSP: One dead after Lee County crash

LEE COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) — One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Lee County, Virginia on Friday.

According to Virginia State Police (VSP), troopers responded to a crash on Veterans Memorial Highways and Town Branch Road around noon.

VSP reports a 2018 Chevrolet SUV was heading westbound on Route 58A near Town Branch when it went off the road to the left and hit a tree.

Saltville man drove with dead woman in vehicle for 8+ hours, sheriff reports

A female driver died at the scene, VSP stated. She was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.
