VSP: Abducted Scott Co. infant safely located, AMBER Alert canceled

SCOTT COUNTY, Va. (WJHL) – An AMBER Alert that was issued for a 10-month-old abducted from Scott County, Virginia has been canceled after the infant was safely located, according to state police.

The Virginia State Police (VSP) and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse issued the alert for infant Cedar Samuel Griffith on behalf of the Scott County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

Cedar was allegedly abducted on Monday at 8:18 p.m.

VSP reports Cedar was believed to have been abducted by Ashley Jordan Griffith, 30, who was also safely located Tuesday evening.
