Will votes for candidates who withdraw count?

The Arkansas Secretary of State’s Office says the candidates who may have dropped out publicly have not submitted paperwork to be withdrawn from the ballot.

“Most of the presidential candidates may have dropped out publicly but did not formally submit paperwork to have their candidacy withdrawn from the ballot in Arkansas. Their votes will be counted,” a spokesperson for the Arkansas Secretary of State said.

Where can you vote and when do polls close?

Polling locations can be found on the VoterView website. Registration information and sample ballots can also be found on that website.

Most polling locations will be open until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
