TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Decades of continued development of Tampa’s Riverwalk have allowed the 2.6-mile attraction to flourish into a prominent focal point of the city. Featuring bars, restaurants, parks, and beautiful aesthetics, the Tampa Riverwalk is a crucial draw of Tampa for tourists and locals alike.

For the second straight year, the question remains: Is Tampa’s Riverwalk ready to be recognized as one of America’s best riverwalks?

Spring break week kicks off at Tampa Bay area beaches

The Tampa Riverwalk has been nominated as one of the 20 contenders in USA Today’s 2024 Reader’s Choice 10 Best. Your vote, cast once per day until polls close on Monday, April 8, at noon, could be the deciding factor that propels the Tampa Riverwalk to the top ten. The winners, determined solely by your votes, will be unveiled on Wednesday, April 17.

Other cities nominated for the award include Boston, Chicago, Miami, Mississippi, Milwaukee, and Savannah.
