Volusia County opens summer camp registration for kids ages 5 through 12

Volusia County government officials have launched registration for their summer camp for children ages 5-12.

Registration opened this morning for Volusia County Summer Break Camp 2024, which includes field trips to the Daytona Lagoon, Aquatica and other venues, according to the county.

People can find more information about the summer camp and register online at volusia.org/recreation. There is a $20 non-refundable registration fee due at registration.

The cost is $80 a week per child, which covers field trip entry fees and a camp T-shirt.

Children who are 5 years old must have completed kindergarten to be eligible.

  • Gemini Springs Park, DeBary

  • DeBary Hall Historic Site

  • Chisholm Community Center, DeLand

  • Boy Scout Hut, DeLand

  • Taylor Middle-High School, Pierson

  • Holly Hill K-8 School

  • R.J. Longstreet Elementary School, Daytona Beach

  • James Street Park, South Daytona

  • Mary DeWees Park, Oak Hill

  • Coronado Beach Elementary School, New Smyrna Beach

  • Edgewater Public School

Volusia County offers scholarships to income-eligible households. For information on scholarships, people can go to volusia.org/scs or contact Community Assistance at 386-736-5955.
