Visit Wichita talks about upcoming events in May

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Jemelle Holopirek with Visit Wichita talked about several upcoming events happening in May with KSN’s Jason Lamb.

May 7-10, the city will host The USA Lacrosse Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA) national championship at Stryker Sports Complex.

Wichita’s Keeper of the Plains will celebrate its 50th anniversary. A family-friendly festival commemorating the anniversary, Party for the People, is scheduled for May 18.

Other events include Open Streets ICT in the Nomar District and the Praire Fire spring half marathon and 5K. For a list of all events, click here.
