Virginia Safari Park welcoming back adventurists for 2024 season

ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Experience the true meaning of the wild! The Virginia Safari Park in Rockbridge County will be opening for the 2024 season on Saturday, March 2.

With multiple exciting attractions, exhibits, and experiences, the Safari Park has something for just about everyone. Guests have access to the 180-acre drive-thru zoo that features exotic animals including giraffes, rhinos, and more. The animals roam freely and act naturally and may even come up to your car giving you the chance to hand-feed them through the windows.

The park also has a Village Walk-Thru, which is a 10-acre walk for a close-up with the animals through the tiger territory, a penguin pool, and a kangaroo walkabout.
