Police said people inside a car with Virginia tags were arguing with a man standing outside of the car. A passenger got out with a gun. Officers said the man outside of the car also took out a gun and that the men began shooting at each other.

The passenger got back into the car. The driver left, turning down N. Falkland Lane which was a dead end street.

Police took the driver and another passenger into custody right away. Officers said they found a loaded gun with an extended magazine and a loaded AK-47 style pistol inside the car.

Police also arrested the man who’d been outside of the car with the help of a Prince George’s County Police Department helicopter which guided officers to the man as he ran across Georgia Avenue. Police said they recovered the gun he had.
