Virginia Jewish Community Center Sprayed With 19 Swastikas
A Jewish Community Center in Virginia was vandalized with over one dozen spray-painted swastikas over the weekend, but officials there aren't shocked.
The JCC of Northern Virginia president David Yaffe told CNN that such acts of hatred have become a regular thing both locally and nationwide
"As many of us recognize, these acts do not represent the community around the J or the community in Northern Virginia," the center wrote in a statement, which noted that churches in the area have also been targeted by vandals.

The center, just a few miles outside's the nation's capital, said they are "touched by the outpouring of support by the community to help remove the graffiti from the building or to make a donation to help cover its cost" and that it was due to be removed professionally on Saturday.
"Thank you to everyone who has offered your kind words and support of solidarity against hate," the said wrote.
Meanwhile, police are asking the public for help in bringing the culprit to justice.
Per a Fairfax County PD statement, surveillance video captured images of a suspect spray-painting the building around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Detectives said they are reviewing evidence collected at the scene and are "working diligently in hopes of identifying the suspect and placing charges."
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mason District Police Station.
