Virginia Beach law enforcement hold fundraiser this weekend

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Members of Law Enforcement United’s (LEU) “Road to Hope” and “Ruff Ride” are holding a fundraiser Saturday, March 9.

The event is set to be held at Lendy’s Café from noon to 4 p.m. The cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Entry includes lunch and two drink tickets.

Each year, Virginia division bicyclists trek from Chesapeake to Washington, D.C., for the Road to Hope fundraiser or Cumberland, Md., to D.C., for the Ruff Ride, which recognizes Law Enforcement K-9 partners that have died in the line of duty.

The event this weekend helps raise money for the organization.
