VIRAL VIDEO: Mini St. Pete basketballer travels up and down court for 71 seconds
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — A preschooler brought a little March Madness to St. Petersburg earlier this month, putting on show that’s guaranteed to go in the Cuteness Hall of Fame.
An adorable video posted on Storyful shows 3-year-old Safari travel up and down the basketball court for a straight 71 seconds during a game on March 2, not dribbling once.
Safari’s teammates tried to get him to pass the ball, but his mother, Martinique Kelty, said it was his last game of the season and he “would not give up the ball until he made a shot.”
He earned the nickname “happy feet” for his nifty footwork, Kelty told Storyful.
