Casper the Moluccan cockatoo often struts to music, but a particular piece by jazz trumpeter Jeff Jarvis (and no, we're not talking about this Jeff Jarvis) really juices him up, prompting him to strut across the floor, groove to the beat and raise his crest like a fancy hat.
Gary Jackson, Casper's owner in southern Ontario, Canada, learned Jarvis' composition "Honk" in his high school jazz band. For some reason, Casper seriously dug it, proving avians have rhythm, too, and inspiring Jackson to pull out the camera. "He really seemed to be getting into it," he said.
Interestingly, this video was uploaded to the Internet in January 2011, but only in the past couple of weeks has it started to find an online audience.
