Village of Los Ranchos mayor passes away
BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Village of Los Ranchos announced on Wednesday that Mayor Joe Craig, 74, passed away.
“Mayor Joe Craig was not only a remarkable leader but also a cherished friend,” said Mayor Pro Tem Frank Reinow in a statement. “His passion for our community was evident in everything he did. Joe’s legacy will continue to inspire us all to work towards a better, more connected Los Ranchos. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the work we continue in his honor.”

Craig was elected to the position in November. Officials did not specify how Craig passed away.
