Vikings break out a new curling TD celebration for NFC title game

The Minnesota Vikings deserved to make the NFL’s final four based on touchdown celebrations alone.

The Vikings’ creativity has been something to behold, and they saved a great one for their first touchdown of the NFC championship game. Tight end Kyle Rudolph scored on a nice touch pass by Case Keenum to give the Vikings an early 7-0 lead over the Philadelphia Eagles. Then Rudolph rolled out the ball like a curling stone, while teammates Latavius Murray and Stefon Diggs mimicked using the curling brooms. Brilliant.

The Vikings have taken full advantage of the NFL’s relaxed rules on celebrations. Their best effort of the season was probably their “duck, duck, goose” celebration against the Chicago Bears, but they have had plenty of good ones (so have the Eagles, their opponents in the NFC title game).

It’s good to know that even though the Vikings went deep in the playoffs, they still had some celebration ideas left over.
