‘The View’ Audience Guffaws When Donald Trump Campaign Manager Kellyanne Conway Says He “Told Me” No Russian Ties

Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway was no doubt aware she was walking into a lion’s den when she visited The View to talk up her boss, so she was maybe not surprised when Joy Behar gave her more of a grilling than she gets when she plays Trump surrogate on, say CNN. But news program appearances don’t prepare you for the rambunctious daytime studio audience that guffaws and harrumphs when you get asked if you can “unequivocally say that Donald Trump has never done business with Russia, has never taken money from them and never will” and you give a standard heinie-covering “That’s what he’s told me” reply.
On the bright side, for having survived the grilling she got on The View, the panelists “gifted” her with a certificate – to the Trump Spa where, she said, she has never been.
