White Sox players making their debut this year say they don't worry about Chicago's terrible 2013. CBS 2's Ryan Baker reports.
Paul: Get over it. We did. “Hillary’s got her share of critics,” Obama said. “She has been caricatured by the right and by some on the left. She has been accused of everything you can imagine and some things that you cannot. But she knows that’s what happens when you’re under a microscope for 40 years.” The "get over it, we did" statement is a bunch of BS. With only Clinton left to carry the Democratic banner into the White House of course they will have gotten over it. Publicly. Privately it is a different story. One does not just change one's opinion of an individual that has personally attacked their character. Nor does an opinion sway at a moments notice regarding the illegal, unethical and at times immoral tactics, coercion and blackmailing that has been a staple of the Clintons' rise to the top. Yes, that was plural. Bill is just as complicit as his wife. Her share of critics includes the president. And other commenters/citizens question why I consider him a hypocrite of the highest degree. I would imagine she does know "that's what happens when you have been under a microscope for 40 years". Which is another area that does not sit well with the majority of people, call them voters, innocent bystanders, bi-pods with an ability to have cognitive thought, whatever. If any or all of the accusations that have been leveled at the Clintons over the years, that's 40 years worth of mistrust, deceit and alleged wrong doings, were prosecuted against anyone of us, we would be incarcerated at the drop of a dime. Why is that? Does our freedom lie at a level below theirs? It seems that the old saying "its not what you know, its who you blow" can be modified in their case to "I know who you blow and I have pictures". I am hopeful for the future, should one be forthcoming after this abomination of a political circus, on all sides, that some people with actual sense and morals prevails. I am 58. I shouldn't think that I shall see that happening in my lifetime, but the thought is there.
