Volunteers Help Create Community Garden

One central Bakersfield has a new community garden to enjoy thanks to volunteers from Keep Bakersfield Beautiful and Ikea. Volunteers planted the garden on Saturday on empty lots. The garden is located on the corner of 4th Street and Eye Street. The Keep Bakersfield Beautiful community started working on the garden last spring during the great American clean up.
