A burst of hiring last month added 236,000 U.S. jobs and reduced the unemployment rate to 7.7 percent from 7.9 percent in January. The gains suggest that the economy can strengthen further despite higher taxes and government spending cuts. (March 8)
LuckyOne: I listened to all of it. At the point where she was thankful that she knew she was going to a safe, good school (Sidwell Friends private), I recall how her parents oppose any school choice for kids whose parents aren't taking down $400,000 a year. Neither Bill, nor Barack, nor Hillary ever said or did anything that was not OK with the teachers' union, no matter what the effect on poor inner city kids who don't even have one reliable parent.
