Tuesday 5 pm Weather Update

Bakersfield topped out at 70 degrees this afternoon but cooler weather is on the way. Highs drop into the low 60s on Wednesday and then the low 50s by Friday. Rain and snow totals will be low..maybe a tenth of an inch of rain and a few inches of snow in the mountains. The snow levels will be low though...starting out at 4,000 feet early Friday dropping down to 2,500 feet by Friday night. Highway 58 and the Grapevine could be impacted by winter weather conditions so keep this number handy.....1-800-GAS-R
