Jane: This is an example of someone who doesn't learn from his mistakes and not even the threat of public humiliation stops him. He needs some serious professional help and I hope he gets it soon. Why a man in the public eye who married so late in life would jeopardize his career and his marriage in this way is indicative of deeper issues. Also at fault, however, is the trend toward social media, which makes this so easy to do. Prior to the social media craze and the multimedia texting on every smartphone, this would have been unheard of. The problem is that times change, technology changes, but people don't. A sad and sorry tale, and my only wish is that his son is not tainted by his indiscretions.
