L: Wow, what feckless supporters that Bernie ended up with. He didn't sell out. He did his best and all that he can to try to make changes for his so call "supporters". You think it is so easy for a man his age to go stomping from state to state pouring his heart and energy in wanting to make changes that help the the poor and the middle class. What he did was totally awesome, he and his "supporters" help change the tone, the direction of the Democratic party to move more to the left and make the Democrats see that there are people suffering and that he wasn't going to give up on his conviction that changes need to be made and he didn't, not even toward the end when he lost the race. He withheld his support and didn't stand down even though the race was over and he lost. He stuck to his principles and negotiated with the Clinton's party to make sure that ideas and plans to help the poor and the middle class will be part of Clinton's agenda when she becomes president and only then did he acknowledge that he had lost and finally to support Hillary Clinton. He is also old enough and wise enough to know when to step aside because he knows that even if he had the younger votes that, that was not enough to win him the presidency. Even though I'm disappointed that he won't be the president or the VP, what he started and did has change the Democratic political landscape and it is only the beginning. I for one am glad that he champion for us. So to all of Bernie's feckless and faithless supporters who claims he sold out. Be and act like an adult, Sanders was cheated by the DNC and lost his chance, but he also realize that if he won't be the one to fight for us then he will support the one who will and that's Hillary Clinton. Turning your back on Sanders and booing at the convention and repeating Republican rhetoric doesn't help your cause and it is embarrassing. Instead of seeing this as a defeat, how about using that energy to ensure that Sander's agenda comes to fruition via Hillary Clinton. As a Bernie supporter, I can't thank him enough for all he did. He went all out and fought a good fight. I have faith that the ideals that he pounded into the Democratic Party will come about in time. Thank you Bernie Sanders.
