Teen Asks For Donations To Charity Instead Of Birthday Gifts

Hayley Althoff, a 15-year-old girl in York County, Penn., is taking a bit of a different approach for her 15th birthday party this year. The teenager decided to forego gifts this year and instead asked for donations on behalf of Habitat For Humanity. She heard of a 13-year-old boy with special needs who needed a new home to accommodate him and his family, and Althoff thought it would be the perfect family to help out. She hopes the generosity inspires other teenagers to do the same thing.
