Though I'm not a progressive, I admire and respect anyone who is principled in their beliefs, and that is what struck me about Mr. Sanders and his campaign. And yesterday, when he was faced with proof that the machine was never going to let him gain the nomination, he still sides with the criminals, principles be damned. He should have pulled a Ted Cruz, at least out of respect for the millions of idealists who backed him. What becomes this jaded electorate now - do they fold, too?
