A three year hold on tuition increases at UH for all resident students. That would be possible under a resolution moving through the State legislature right now, under Senator Brian Taniguchi.
Infamoustimes: Republicans gave him until Labor Day to get his act together and that's the week after his speech. If he's still incoherent, if he's not closing the gap - he may still have support of Priebus and Spicer who have set up shop at Trump Tower but he will have no guarantee of support from anyone running for Congress or state offices or any Republican entity other than the RNC and even that has limits. Candidates will finally get a blanket, explicit "Run your campaign however you need to in order to win, even if it means trashing Trump." To my knowledge that has never happened before and the fact that it's not at all surprising this year is a testament to Trump's unique political talent for uniting the two parties - against him.
