Student Pilot Takes First Flight Since Surviving A Plane Crash

An Indianapolis man who survived a plane crash took his first flight, Wednesday, to conquer his fears. On March 18th, student pilot Brent Abshier was flying a 1976 Cessna single-engine plane along with an instructor when they were confronted with engine problems and crash landed in a field in Greenwood, Indiana. According to the Greenwood Police Department, the 1976 Cessna single-engine plane went down just east of the airport in an empty field.
