Treasury Secretary Jack Lew explains why he is urging Congress to raise the debt ceiling as the nation fast approaches its debt limit by mid-October, with CNBC's John Harwood.
Dr. John: “I believe you can prep too much for those things,” Trump told the New York Times last month. “It can be dangerous. You can sound scripted or phony — like you’re trying to be someone you’re not.” In Trump's case, that would be appearing as being informed of actual facts rather than Fox mythology. It would mean appearing as someone who comprehends the complex issues facing us. It's much better if he remains an entertainer confabulating wingnut "facts." The authentic Trump is the guy the alt-right loves. They would be disappointed if moved from making extremist and false statements to someone who appeared to know and understand issues.
