Same-sex marriage supporters are putting the power of the pen to the test. Those with civil unions say the law Hawaii passed in 2011 as a compromise is just not good enough.
cornelious: I lived and worked in brazil from 2010 through 2015. the day after she was returned to office at the last election, she immediately announced the dire economic future, while all the time making no mention of the countries financial status right up to the election. she was the ceo of petrobras. this lady deserves all that has fallen on her head. the next one to fall will be the ex president lula, he is equally corrupt. however having witnessed all this, brazil will never change. a country that has a population of 200 million and aspires to follow economic models practiced in cuba, Venezuela etc. will go down the toilet just as these countries have done. it pains me to write this because the people I met and worked with are every bit as good as their professional counterparts in the us, in law, science, medicine etc. what a waste of potential . . .
