Manzanero72: Tom Kaine, really? He seems like an upright kind of guy. Moral by politician standards, seems, in one word, unoffensive. Can't say I've heard a lot of talk against him, but I sure haven't heard a lot of talk FOR him, either. On Monday morning, I'd rather be explaining what Kaine brings to the ticket than try to gloss over the harsh, radical stands of Mike Pence in regards to women's issues. But, still, with the Democratic Party All-Stars ready to hit the trail for Hillary, did she really think that elevating another white guy to tell black and brown America what their problems are is really the best idea moving forward to November. "Kaine is fluent in Spanish and that may be a benefit for her with Hispanics," some pundit said. I was offended. That means that saying, "Build the wall," in Spanish somehow makes the message viable to Hispanics. How dumb do the Dems and Pubes think we are? In these unsettled times, I would have enjoyed a Western state Latino to offer his insight on the border issue and I'm sure Cory Booker would have offered a sense having someone on your side to Black America. Instead, another white guy. Hillary can't seem to get out of her own way. A quick internet search reveals Goldman Sachs ties for Kaine. That sure doesn't help, either. I'm an Independent, Bernie-supporting voter with big questions regarding my vote. I'm the guy both Hillary and Trump are looking to find. Tom Kaine sure isn't doing it for me.
