Timothy: "President Barack Obama has said Russia was almost certainly responsible for the DNC hack, an assertion with which cybersecurity experts have agreed." Because two security firms claim there is evidence pointing to Russian involvement doesn't mean the Russians were involved. Security firms may have a lot of reasons for believing things, and for saying they believe things, and it is TWO security firms. Are they telling the truth, what do other security firms think, and so forth. It's just a claim. As for what Obama thinks, well he is not an expert and he certainly has motivation to believe or pretend he believes what a security firm claims to believe. The media confuses claims with facts, and they also have their reasons for pretending claims are facts. And, end of the day, it is irrelevant who did it. It is no less a breach if it was simply a group of hackers independent of any government -- we don't know. And the democratic party is not less corrupt if it was the Russian government or an individual hacker who revealed that corruption.
