A Burlington police sergeant was injured while attempting to arrest a teenager Monday afternoon, Chief Michael Schirling said.
Steve: Who really believed that one person could change the behavior of a race of people that refuse to help themselves and do it in eight years? Obama's presidency was an opportunity for the black community to rise up and become a better group knowing that there was nothing stopping them from achieving anything they set their mind to do. Instead they choose to squander the opportunity and to demonstrate to the world an unwillingness to better themselves and to blame everyone but themselves for their current "Lot in Life". Are we better off today than we were seven years ago? In many ways yes. However, the black community has a lot of work in front of them to change the perceptions that they have created of themselves.
