Police Officer Loses Job Over Bad Check

Officer Jeremy Wilcox, a six-year veteran of the New Orleans Police Department, has been fired from his job for writing bad check in 2004. Police say he wrote the check in 2004 and it didn`t clear. They then say he took steps in subsequent years to cover up the crime and that`s why he has been fired. Police say they can`t have an officer enforcing law who knowingly broke it himself.
