Daniel A.: That may be true but it is far from being all the truth. Perhaps cops just target them and not white non-street dealers... Perhaps it has to do with poverty, since most street drug dealers are poor and most poor people are not white. Of course, white drug dealers are doctors and big pharma behind the opiate epidemic today. Nevertheless, this is what matters: most Blacks and most Hispanics are not drug dealers. Therefore, statistically, it is irrelevant whether most drug dealers are Hispanic or Black. The chances that any given Hispanic is a drug dealer are still very very slim and cannot be used to stigmatize an otherwise very heterogeneous group of people. Same for Blacks or other.
