Person found dead inside apartment

Sheriff's investigators are looking into a suspicious death in east Bakersfield. Authorities tell 23abc that the landlord at this apartment complex on Quincy Street became suspicious when he hadn't seen his tenant since the first of the month. He notified the authorities who entered the apartment and found a decomposing body on the floor. Investigators say there were several items found near the body that lead them to suspect foul play.
