Mo Brooks uses Scalise shooting audio in political ad

In a new political ad in his run for the vacant Senate seat in Alabama, Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Ala., uses audio from the June 14 shooting at a congressional baseball practice — which left House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., and three others wounded — to promote his views about the Second Amendment. The ad also touts his actions on the field that day. In response, Scalise’s office said, “I guess some people have their own ideas about what’s appropriate, don’t they.”
