Rastefer: It has gotten so ridiculous. The fact that a candidate doesn't want to be fact checked tells you what kind of candidate he is, and the mouth of falsehood that comes out of his mouth. The moderator has the responsibility of setting the record straight. He doesn't have to say you are right or wrong, but set the record straight. Let's say for example, if trump says he never supported the war in Iraq. It's the moderator's responsibility to put the statement trump made and his support for the war and let the audience draw their conclusion. Otherwise, how is the audience, the voter, is supposed to know what trump actually said in the past? The fact that Hillary can point that out means nothing; trump can just deny it completely, as he usually does.
