Malala Speaks on the International Day of the Girl

Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani teen and education activist who survived a Taliban attack in 2012, addressed an audience at the World Bank on October 11. Yousafzai called on the group to make education their top priority. The World Bank released this video which shows Yousafzai making the plea for education for every child in developing countries. She also spoke briefly about being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Credit: World Bank
